New Beer Device: The introduction of ‘drip trays’ into pubs

beer deviceA NEW non-drip device has been installed in a Melbourne hotel.

The barman places the glass of beer on a wire grate on the non-drip tray.

Then the customer drags the glass across a synthetic cellulose sponge which absorbs drips.

The idea is that the trays keep the bar free of slops and absorbs the drips.

The equipment consists of a series of hollow two feet six inch by one foot trays, placed end to end along the counter.
