LIKES HIS BEER
Murgatroyd the snake drinks a skinful of beer a day – to keep rats away. Murgatroyd, coiled around his master, Bob Deering, of Dulwich Hill, is taken to the hotel every evening for his middy. Deering said his pet wouldn’t catch rats unless he had his skinful.
