
Village Belle Hotel, St Kilda, Melbourne 1912
MELBOURNE, Sunday.- Police found £142 in notes hidden in the wooden leg of a man they detained at St. Kilda last night. They had searched his clothing unsuccessfully. They were looking for a sum of money from the Village Belle Hotel, St. Kilda. Later a barman was charged at the St. Kilda watch house with theft.
