Richard Morrison, a cabman, obtained a verdict of £5 against George Eaves, licenee of the New Sydney Hotel, Bathurst street, Hobart in the Supreme Court today. The evidence

Fix this textdisclosed that Morrison was taking refreshments in the hotel when he disputed with
Eaves about giving him 6d short change. Eaves at once knocked Morrison down between two casks, and damaged his countenance considerably.
