NOORAN, nine-year-old Harold Park pacer, to whom owner -trainer Harold Collins is giving a schooner, is a “regular” at hotels from St Peters to Bondi. Each day he drinks four or five schooners when pulling a cart which delivers poultry to the hotels. Drinking the beer and pulling the cart are part of a training plan evolved by Mr. Collins. It’s a policy that has paid off, for this week Nooran romped home at 15/1 in the £340 Nowra Handicap at Harold Park.
