COMFORT: To celebrate the New Year these men set up their own beer garden outside the old Albury Hotel, which is being demolished under the Oxford Street widening scheme. The hotel is on a boundary. Half the men sat in Paddington, half in the city.

    Great little story !! , I wonder if the old Albury Hotel was originally a Marshall`s pub ? , as I can see a Stag Lager ad and one with Pilsener ; keep up the posts mate really enjoyable stories about pub life !! ,
