A Snake in Bed
HOTEL BOARDER’S FRIGHT.
QUIRINDI, Wednesday.
On Sunday, a snake was found coiled up in a bed at the Wallabadah Hotel. A boarder got a surprise when retiring, and lost no time in killing the snake.

Wallabadah is a town in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located 55km south of Tamworth on the New England Highway and is about 15km from Quirindi. The heritage-listed Marshall MacMahon Hotel, built in 1867, gained some notoriety when bushranger Captain Thunderbolt robbed the northern mail coach there in the same year.
