Second Man to Fall From Same Hotel Room

Accidentally falling 30 feet from his bedroom at the Story Bridge Hotel, Kangaroo Point, about 11 o’clock last night, David McCandlish, 32, a rivetter, was seriously injured.

Three years ago a man fell from the same room on the third floor of this hotel and was killed. Mr Candlish is suffering from a fracture of the skull and numerous cuts on the face. He is in the Brisbane Hospital.
