THROUGH TWO FLOORS
HOTEL PARAPET COLLAPSES
COBAR. Monday.
During a storm part of the parapet of the Great Western Hotel crashed through the roof, and smashing the floors of two bedrooms, came to rest in the bar parlor underneath. The hotel-keeper, P. Condon and his family, had a wonderful escape, the bricks falling through the bedrooms within a few inches of them. One child was slightly injured. The occupants were able to retain their footing only by clinging to the walls.
