A new non-drip device has been installed in a Melbourne hotel. The barman places the glass of beer on a wire grate on the non-drip tray. Then the customer drags the glass across a synthetic
cellulose sponge which absorbs drips. The idea is that the trays keep the bar free of slops and absorbs the drips. The equipment consists of a series of hallow 2ft. 6in x 1ft. trays, placed
end to end along the counter.
