Pluto arrives in Melbourne

THEY LOOK EXTRA GOOD

These pots have an extra good look about them, but don’t be hopeful. Picture shows a new beer servicing device known as “Pluto” in use in a Melbourne hotel. It consists of six feet of transparent plastic hose and a release valve. The device is claimed to be fast, hygienic, and economical.

  1. They were good if you were busy but if not , six feet of beer sat unrefrigerated . I worked part-time in family pubs in the 70s and we used plutos on a Friday night between 6-8 only , and only filling empties too. No fresh glasses were expected .
